We’ve been working with Dr Ken Hudson from the Speed Thinking Zone developing benchmarks. They enable you to find out if your team is on the same level as you and compare the results to other organisations.
Ken has been hosting sessions and workshops with organisations for over a decade to help them be more creative, innovative and productive.
Meeting Benchmark
Managers and Leaders are spending an increasing amount of time in meetings. Yet they often complain about the effectiveness of this activity. In an era where more and more is expected from less and less, executives cannot afford to waste any time.
The Meetings Benchmark was designed to assess the strengths and weaknesses of Meetings in an organisation. This will provide valuable insights for leaders wishing to improve the effectiveness of meetings. By doing so, leaders can improve the productivity of employees, innovation, and even job satisfaction.
The Meetings Benchmark is available in a paper based or electronic format, consisting of 21 statements (judged on a 0-10) scale. Organisations that have taken part include a major retailer, airline, back and pharmaceutical company.

The Innovation Benchmark 3 Factor®
Tribe Research, in conjunction with Dr Ken Hudson, developed the Innovation Benchmark 3 Factor® (or IB3) – a short survey to measure your organisations perception of how innovative you are.
The IB3 represents a validated, reliable and comprehensive assessment of staff perceptions of current performance for the three key innovation driving factors in any organisation:
- Idea Development: Continually developing a pipeline of big, new ideas to draw on.
- Market-Place Orientation: Proactively searching the market and other industries for new ideas.
- Innovative Culture: Being open to new ideas, approaches and solutions from all levels of the organisation.
The IB3 was launched in 2004. It includes a private health insurance company, the Australian division of an international packaged goods company, the Australian division of an international manufacturing company, Australian division of an online company, a travel company, an architectural firm, a public relations company, a retail chain, and a state government authority.
